ReStore accepts new and gently used household items, building materials and home improvement supplies. Below is a list of some of the items we accept. This list changes frequently and may not list everything we accept. So if in doubt…just give us a call! Also please make sure the donation is clean and functional.
*Air Conditioning- running condition – whole house or window
*Appliances (clean and in working condition)
*Bath Tubs (clean and in good condition)
*Cabinets (Kitchen and Bathroom)
*Carpet (Clean, remnants)
*Doors (Interior & Exterior, Raised panel, glass, etc.)
*Electrical – fixtures, parts and supplies
*Flooring Materials (Ceramic, vinyl, wood.)
*Furniture – Home or antique (overall good condition – no worn or stained upholstery)
*Hardware (knobs, hinges, locks. Also: nails, screws, nuts, bolts and fasteners)
*Lumber – 6 ft or longer; Plywood: half sheet or larger; Trim: free of rot, nails and screws – no scraps
*Paint (new only) and painting supplies
*Windows (Vinyl, Aluminum, Wood — all sizes; new construction and retro-fits)
Donations are sold to shoppers at discounted prices—typically 50-75% below retail value. Proceeds from the ReStore help the affiliate and construction crew build even more affordable homes for qualified families in Cleveland County.
Useful materials are recycled and reused to help the environment.
Useful materials are kept out of landfills and put to use by those who need them.

There are several different ways you can help the ReStore!
1. Make your home improvement purchases at the ReStore.
2. Tell your friends about us to help spread the word about our stores and help us receive donations of good quality, sellable materials.
3. Volunteer! The Habitat ReStore is always looking for volunteers to help with stocking shelves, cleaning and repairing donations, and general store upkeep.
Yes!! Because we sell most items at 45% to 90% off normal retail value, every purchase is a great deal. However, we offer specials from time to time where you can save even MORE! Check our Facebook page for new product arrivals, ReStore special events information and Saturdays are 10% off for seniors 62 and older. .
Yes, donations made to the ReStore are tax deductible. Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland County is a charitable organization under tax code 501(c)(3). At the time of donation, the ReStore staff will provide you with a Receipt for Donated Goods that can be used for tax purposes.
No. You place the value on your donations. It is between you and your accountant.

There are many ways local businesses can contribute: financial donations, equipment donations, sponsor a special event for the Habitat ReStore, place an ad for or with the Habitat ReStore, volunteer at the Habitat ReStore, donate materials to the Habitat ReStore, or shop at the Habitat ReStore and help with the construction crew. There is always something going on. We especially love people who like to paint!
